This cell aims at:

Industry-Institute Interaction by arranging visits of adjoint faculty from Industries and deputing of college faculty to the industries. Joint research projects are also undertaken. The centre also proposes to prepare a data bank on faculty expertise, lab. facilities and Technology development.

Entrepreneurship Development by imparting training in entrepreneurship through EDPs for potential entrepreneurs and organising awareness camps for students of Science and Technology.

Development of Rural Energy and Alternative Technologies by undertaking R and D projects in energy conservation and management and alternative energy sources as also IRED programmes.

Continuing Education Programme for the working Professionals by preparing course materials, offering programmes at institutes and industries and arranging relevant seminars etc. in the College.
