National Level Students Technical Symposium
'Twas in 1995 that the first incarnation of what was later to become Literati, came into being, TechnoSpect'95 as the event was called was the first of the national level students technical symposium organised by the college. 1996 saw the metamorphosing of this event into Literati.
The years 96,97,98,99 saw Literati striding towards excellence. The event as of today is one of the country's most prestigious technical venet for technical and management colleges all over the country.
A national level students technical symposium - "LITERATI" is organised every year by the students of the Institute under the guidance of faculty members.
The prime objective is to popularise academic interaction between the students of various institutes by bringing them under one roof and to provide a wider platform so that they can exchange their views on upcoming technologies. this also provides them with an opportunity to enhance their creative power and show their calibre by doing something constructive, besidess regular routine work. Cultural programs are also organised on a major scale with professional nite being the main attraction, so as to enliven the spirit of the event.
The name Literati has of late become synonymous with the best that can be offered in terms of the amalgamation of both the technical and cultural aspects of engineering life in N.I.T. Kurukshetra. Thus it is befitting that an event of such magnitude to be held under the auspicious of the creme-de- la-crème of the college. None fits better than the five technical societies who reflect the perfect balance of technical know-how and managerial expertise.
